Yes- I know- it has been a long time since I had a post. And I am sorry. I have been sick since the middle of April (2 ear infections, 2 sinus infections, lots of doctor visits and trips to the pharmacy.) Bailley and Preston were busy with end of year school activities and Bailley and I were busy most weekends with Girl Scout fundraisers (or as busy as I could be based on how I was feeling.) Both kids had AR programs we attended and we were able to catch Bailley’s track and field day. Preston started baseball the end of April and has had practices or games at least twice a week since. Jason and I started golf league in May and we also switched day care providers for Harvey. Bailley started band lessons and softball this week…even though both activities technically started last week (she missed due to vacation.) Harvey moved from a center to a home daycare last week. AND of course- we had Bailley’s Girl Scout trip out east June 6-13 (which we both enjoyed.)
That being said we are quickly getting ready for various trips to visit friends and family, or prepare for people to come visit us. I am hoping summer eventually settles into some kind of routine (both kids are playing summer ball until middle of July or so). However I am a realist and know the only routine you can be guaranteed with summer is that there is no routine. J
I do promise to write more regularly now that I am finally feeling better. We keep thinking Harvey’s first tooth is right around the corner…but it has yet to pop thru. He isn’t crawling yet, but he has mastered rolling over and can “flop” his way to anything. Time to baby proof the house. Do take a moment and check out the pictures from his first cereal experience. It hasn't gotten much better and I do think he is ready for veggies - cereal is just to blah. We have over 1700 pictures to go thru from the Girl Scout trip (and that's just from my camera, the camera Bailley used and her iPod.) I hope to get a few up yet this week.
Oh and I also hope everyone had a fantastic Father's Day. Give your dad a hug and a call - I'm sure he still worries about you even if you haven't lived at home in a few years. :)
